LED Technology

MEDISOL® LED technology is a breakthrough in anti-aging, photomodulation and photodynamic therapies. A high-power LED lamp is able to treat a variety of skin diseases and other tissue damage, e.g. acne, burns, alopecia, re-pigmentation, stretchmarks, scars and much more. This is made possible by the high energy beam of the CMS-LEDs which create a resonant resorption in the deeper skin layers.

Electroluminescent diodes (LED) release a narrow spectral band of lights from the visible spectrum and infra-red. Unlike classic lasers that cause thermal damage, they do not destroy a target, but use photobiomodulation (PBM). This consists of naturally stimulating some intra-cellular targets, mitochondrial in particular, in order to redirect the cell’s metabolism and bring it to auto-correct itself. Photobiomodulation has proven its effectiveness with more than 5000 scientific publications on the subject.

The principle of photobiomodulation is very similar to that of photosynthesis.
The stimulation of mitochondria cytochromes, from the photons emitted by the LED light, causes the production of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP). This provides energy for cellular renewal and stimulates the production of new collagen.
The MEDISOL lamp, when emitting light in the red and near Infra-Red (630nm-850nm) spectra, which are close to the absorption of cytochrome, is the most effective device in terms of production of neo- collagen, thanks to the photobiomodulation process behind it.
